What to expect

  • Patch test: before your first treatment you'll need a patch test to check for any reaction to the pigments.
  • Style: Charlotte draws on the thickness and style with you. Nothing is started until you're completely happy.
  • Treatment time: allow around 1½ hours.
  • Healing: your eyes may be a little puffy for a day or two, and the liner looks darker at first before it softens.
  • Retouch: a complimentary retouch is offered 4–6 weeks after a new treatment to perfect the result.
  • How long it lasts: usually 12–18 months, depending on your skin, lifestyle and aftercare.

Aftercare

You'll be given full aftercare advice and aftercare cream at your appointment. In general:

  • Keep the area clean and dry, and apply the aftercare cream as directed.
  • Don't rub your eyes or pick the area while it heals.
  • Avoid eye makeup on the area, swimming, saunas, sunbeds and strong sun until healed.
  • If you wear contact lenses, bring your glasses to the appointment.
